Returns & Refunds for Defective Products

Vac Shack will refund purchase price (excluding shipping charges) or exchange at no charge for most defective products due to defects in materials or workmanship upon receipt of the defective product, within 30 days of original order (*exceptions apply). Once received and inspected, Vacshack.com Inc. will at its own discretion deem the product returned as defective or otherwise. For purchases beyond the 30 day return window, please see manufacturers warranty information for that particular product.

*Exceptions and Exclusions:

  • Returning items due to “Change of Heart” is not considered defective and will be refused without credit given. Exchanges for these “Change of Heart” items will be done on a case by case basis at the customer’s expense.
  • Damages or defects due to mishandling or misuse by the end user including but not limited to; not following manufacturers suggested applications or maintenance will not be considered a refundable claim.
  • Liquid cleaning products may not be returned for any reason and no refunds will be given on these products.
  • Vacuum Cleaners, vacuum cleaner bags, filters, or other components that have been opened or that can or may have been exposed to contamination from dust, allergens, insects, rodent droppings, pet dander, mold spores and any other chemicals or impurities that could be transferred or run the risk of exposure to others, cannot be returned.   • Air purifiers that have been removed from the original packaging cannot be returned. Any air purifiers that are returned and, in our judgment, have been removed from the original packaging will be discarded immediately and no refund will be made. For warranty information, please see the warranty documentation that came with your machine.
  • Air purifier filters or other air purifier components that have been opened or that can or may have been exposed to contamination from dust, allergens, insects, rodent droppings, pet dander, mold spores and any other chemicals or impurities that could be transferred or run the risk of exposure to others, cannot be returned.
  • VacShack.com only carries premium products with high quality standards set forth by the product's manufacturers. Vacshack.com does not offer or sell any refurbished or generic products without clearly disclosing that they are refurbished or generic on the product listing, therefore the product defective rate for items on our site is extremely minimal and defective exchanges are done on a case by case basis.

Warranty Service Work

  • Vacshack.com Inc is a warranty service center for Miele, Hoover, Eureka/Electrolux, Sanitaire and Dirt Devil/Royal. VacShack.com Inc will do warranty work at our location only, for any of the listed product lines with prior written approval from VacShack.com, Inc. All Shipping costs to and from Vacshack.com, Inc. for warranty work is at the customer’s expense.
  • Warranty information for local warranty service is available at any of the manufacturer’s websites and in your user guide. To obtain local warranty service work, please contact the respective manufacturer of the unit.
  • General service/maintenance work is not a warranty claim and charges will apply.  Broken belts, clogged hoses and pipes, dirty filters, and full bags are a few items that are never covered by warranty.  These items can usually be fixed or cleaned by the customer with minimal mechanical knowledge.  Please see your instruction manual for assistance with these types of problems.

Return Instructions:

Any returns may be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. All returns must be shipped prepaid to the address given in the emailed response to your RA request, and include all original packaging, accessories and purchase receipt. A return authorization number is required prior to returning any merchandise. If return authorization has not been obtained, your claim may be denied. Please email service@vacshack.com to apply for a return authorization number. Please include your full name, phone number and order number when emailing us. Vac Shack reserves the right to refuse any return, refund or claim at our discretion.

If your request for an RA number is denied; DO NOT return the product(s). This will only cause added expense to you and credit will not be given. Denial of RA request can be for several reasons as noted above.

Vacshack.com Inc. reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time without advance notice. All changes and amendments will take effect immediately at the time the policies have been approved and implemented by Vacshack.com Inc.
